I am currently an Education Focused Lecturer in Gender and Cultural Studies at the University of Sydney. I am passionate about student-driven, transformative learning, and I have received a Postgraduate Teaching Fellowship (2022, University of Sydney) for my teaching practice. Aside from extensive teaching in Gender and Cultural Studies at the University of Sydney, I have also taught across Screen and Media Studies, Asian Studies, and Sociology at the University of Sydney, UNSW, UTS, and the University of Notre Dame Australia. As unit coordinator, I have designed and convened the units GCST1601 Culture, Power, Identity; GCST1603 Screen Cultures and Gender: Film to Apps; GCST2605 Representing Race and Gender; GCST2612 Youth and Youth Cultures; GCST5210 Transforming Everyday Life; and GCST6905 Gender and Cultural Theory.
